Additionally, it provides support for individuals preparing for the USCIS Citizenship Test, covering vital civics topics that align with the test’s content. The video is part of a broader curriculum to foster civic engagement and understanding of U.S. history and law.

 

Objective:

The video aims to educate viewers about the significance of the Bill of Rights, the historical impact of Latino activism, and key legal cases. It also provides practical knowledge to assist individuals preparing for the USCIS Citizenship Test by covering essential civics questions. The content is designed to be accessible to Spanish-speaking audiences.

Process:

  • Storyboarding: The video’s flow was carefully mapped out to ensure that both historical context and test preparation materials were well balanced.

  • Voice Recording: Spanish narration was recorded using Adobe Audition, targeting Spanish-speaking audiences and individuals preparing for the USCIS Citizenship Test.

  • Editing: Camtasia was used to combine all video components, including historical footage, text animations, and audio, into a cohesive educational resource.

 

Outcome:

This project provides a dynamic educational tool that not only educates viewers on Latino contributions to civil liberties but also serves as a resource for U.S. citizenship test preparation. The bilingual format and use of rich visual elements make the content accessible and engaging, reaching a wide audience.
